McCourt & Sons Equipment, Inc. continues to proudly serve customers throughout North and Central America in the
Crushing, Screening, Conveying, Grinding and Recycling markets.
A family owned and operated company, McCourt & Sons Equipment, Inc. was founded in La Grange, Texas in 1997 by John McCourt, and two of his sons Eamon McCourt and Kevin McCourt.
The Early Days
John McCourt brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the organization from three decades working in the industry. From humble beginnings in 1970 in County Tyrone, Ireland, John started his life in the screening business on the factory assembly line for Powerscreen International Ltd. Within a few years John had worked his way up through the company; from service to demonstration to establishing new dealers through out Europe.
In 1974 John was appointed with the responsibility to introduce and organize operations within the U.S. market for Powerscreen International. After several years delivering continued outstanding success at appointing new dealers, John seized upon the opportunity himself and established his own distributorship in 1978 in the form of K&M Equipment Inc., La Grange, Texas.
The Nineties
Ten years after selling this company to Powerscreen Texas Inc. in 1987, John, Eamon and Kevin continued to identify ever growing gaps in the market that were abundantly escaping existing equipment distributors.
With the wealth of equipment knowledge and experience, and ongoing business relationships throughout the industry, John, Eamon and Kevin seized upon these missed opportunities and starting selling screening equipment again in 1997, representing the equipment manufacturers Viper International Ltd. and McCloskey International Ltd.
Over the next several years, McCourt and Sons Equipment, Inc. quickly became a market leader in providing quality equipment and quality after sales professional service and product support.
Sales Experience
In late 2000, Connor McCourt, with value added sales experience, good customer relations skills and strong equipment knowledge, joined the team to develop further the Northern Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas markets.
Paul McCourt was a welcomed valuable addition to the team in 2003. After working for several years for Powerscreen of Canada, Stanley Tools and Michigan CAT’s ‘Aggregate Division’, Paul decided to bring his experience, knowledge and additional business relationships to the McCourt & Sons organization.
Former USA Dealer Rep for Viper International Limited and Invest Northern Ireland’s ‘Explorer of the Year 2003’,
Colin Keane, joined the company in 2004. A business graduate from The Queens University of Belfast, Ireland and St. Thomas University, Miami, Florida, Colin contributed further to the sales and marketing department within the company.

Currently managed today by Paul McCourt, McCourt & Sons Equipment, Inc. continues to celebrate success at exceeding customer requirements and expectations.

To assist with this goal, McCourt & Sons Equipment, Inc. proudly celebrates an infrastructure that includes:
fully equipped service trucks and fully trained service technicians; 18 wheel haul trucks; 20 employees; 75+ units in the rental fleet; new and used equipment inventory; MSHA Certified sales team accessible 24/7; and a 7 acre facility that includes manufacturing facilities and a spare parts shop.
McCourt & Sons Equipment, Inc. also successfully continues to manufacture and sell the Bison Screening Plant throughout North and Central America. Chairman of the Board, John McCourt, continues to identify ways to innovate this product as the ever growing demand for an affordable machine this size continues to grow.
